Aspekte mittellateinischer Bukolik: Vergil und Ovid in Dantes 2. Ekloge

Anhand einiger Beispiele aus Dantes zweiter Ekloge soll vorgestellt werden, wie dieser im sprachlichen Bereich Wendungen und inhaltlich Charaktere und Mythen aus allen drei Werken Vergils (Eclogae, Georgica und Aeneis) und aus Ovids Metamorphosen rezipiert hat. Dante Alighieri bedient sich der vergilischen und ovidischen Formulierungen und Strukturen einerseits als einer Art von Präfabrikat für einen neuen Kontext, andererseits strebt er eine Kontinuität in Motiven und Bildern sowie eine an Vergil und Ovid anlehnende Sprache an. Eine Auswahl dieser Reminiszenzen an Vergil und Ovid wird mit ihrer poetischen Vorlage verglichen, und soweit dies möglich ist, interpretiert. Zudem sollen einzelne Realien näher erörtert werden.
Based upon a few examples taken from Dante’s Second Eclogue we aim to demonstrate how and what the author borrowed and adapted, both in linguistic formulations and content, characters and myths, from all three of Virgil’s works (i.e. Eclogues, Georgics and Aeneid), as well as Ovid’s Metamorphoses. On the one hand, Dante applies Virgilian and Ovidian formulas and narrative structures as "prefabricated" elements composed within new contexts, and on the other hand, he strives towards a continuity of Virgilian and/or Ovidian motifs, images and linguistic styles. A selection of these Ovidian and Virgilian borrowings and adaptations are compared and contrasted with Dante’s own poetical conventions, interpretations proffered where possible and a few examples explained in greater detail.
Sulla base di alcuni esempi tratti dalla seconda ecloga di Dante si cerca di dimostrare, come il poeta abbia ricepito sia a livello linguistico formulazioni che a livello di contenuto personaggi e miti di tutte le 3 opere virgiliane (Ecloghe, Georgica e Eneide) e delle Metamorfosi ovidiane. Dante usa le formulazioni e strutture narratologiche virgiliane ed ovidiane da una parte come una specie di "prefabbricato" per un nuovo contesto, dall' altra parte aspira ad una continuità nei motivi e nelle immagini ed ad una lingua di stampo virgiliano ed ovidiano. Un florilegio di queste reminiscenze ovidiane e virgiliane verrà confrontato con la sua matrice poetica e - se possibile - interpretato.
