Die 4. Konferenz der Internationalen Vereinigung für Südosteuropäische Anthropologie (InASEA) will Probleme der Regionen, der Regionalismen, der regionalen Kulturen und Identitäten im südöstlichen Europa v. a. aus anthropologischen und ethno-
grafischen Perspektiven behandeln. Wir laden Kolleginnen und Kollegen ein, ihre empirischen Forschungen über gegenwärtige oder historische südosteuropäische Regionen mit einem Fokus auf soziokulturelle Fragen sowie ihre theoretischen überlegungen zu präsentieren: Auf der Tagung soll es um regionale Kulturen und ihre Konstruktion, um regionale Identitäten, um das alltägliche "Funktionieren" von Regionen (u. a. von Grenz-
regionen), um soziale und kulturelle Konsequenzen regionaler Disparitäten u. ä. gehen.
Einreichschluss ist der 1. November 2006.
The 4th conference of the International Association for Southeast European Anthropology (InASEA) wants to explore regions, regionalisms, regional cultures and identities in the southeast European countries from a predominantly ethno-
logical/anthropological perspective. The association invites colleagues to present their empirical studies of present regions or their studies of historical regions with a focus on socio-cultural issues: on regional cultures and their construction, on regional identities, on the everyday "functioning" of regions, including cross-border regions, on social and cultural consequences of regional disparities, etc.
Deadline for submissions is November 1, 2006.
