So, the Pandora's box is open and yes, only a Wahrsagerin could say what can happen next. For the beginning we survived the Day 1, including collective trip of Serbian ministers to different Kosovo places (which, as we were informed, from now on will be a regular practice - abends wird der Faule fleißig...), and afterwards their exhausting hysterical reports for hours, only encouraging hooligans to demolish Belgrade and Novi Sad... Too familiar scenario? Well, both Serbias had quite enough exercises during the 1990s, and since there is a Milošević's successor ? with the same poisoned nationalist rhetoric, the same insane vision of his mission, the same gift for self-destruction, the same readiness to reject any communication and to exclude his opponents or anybody who dares to think differently by any means (precisely in the Sartre's play Dirty Hands sense) - here we are too. And, to make things even more exciting, here are the EU, the US, Russia...
So, what the Counterpart is ready to do is not so difficult to guess, the EU along with its Eastern and Western balance/burden could try to understand what on earth is going on at all at the Balkans again, and maybe to do anything with good results, only by chance. And we, again in the position of a kind of double hostages, we could need too much Achterl to heal the Weltschmerz, so much better is to follow the wise Walter Henisch?s advice to keep clear minds, nothing is needed more now ? where else than at some of numerous special Belgrade Gastwirtschaften, for instance at the Kandahar, enjoying Oriental tees and music... With the privilege to have so great multicultural, multiethnic richness, everybody in Serbia has a unique opportunity to choose her/his own part of heritage and for sure nobody could ever take the right away from us, neither from inside, nor from outside.
